The Lennox House is an absolutely wonderful Bed and Breakfast and it is the gold-standard of hospitality and comfort. The house is decorated in a very warm 19th Century fashion and the walls are bathed in history (all of which can be detailed to you by the staff). Each of the rooms are decorated in the style of a season (Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn) and they are ridiculously comfortable. The breakfasts served each morning are well-balanced and really tasty. I can't say too much about how much I enjoyed my stay. It's amazing and extremely well priced for the quality of service.

My three sisters and I came to the Lennox House for our first annual sisters' weekend using a deeply discounted Groupon. We were monumentally impressed. We stayed in the Falcon's Nest, which had 2 bedrooms, a nice living room with a fireplace and a full kitchen. It was spacious enough that we didn't feel overcrowded, but cozy enough to feel quaint. The entire B&B was beautiful: original wood features, stunning stained glass, historic exterior, etc. The location was also convenient, with easy access to most of the COS attractions, parking and walking around the historic boulevard. The innkeepers, James and Julie, were attentive and pleasant. They took into account special requests and were mindful of the tiny details that makes staying in a B&B unique. We would absolutely stay here again.

This was our second stay as a family of four at the Lennox House. The upper Falcon's Nest apartment was unavailable, but we were able to thoroughly enjoy the Summer Escape room, which had ample space for our two young kids (ages 2 and 6.) The room is cheerful and relaxing, in shades of robin's egg blue and lemon yellow....the bathroom has a fantastic-ly large tub, and the king bed was extremely comfortable. The boys shared the daybed, which had a trundle as well. There is a mini fridge on the same level, with bottled water, and a cute little sitting area that overlooks the front yard. Downstairs in the dining area, there are always snacks left out for guests: nut snack mix, M&Ms, chocolates, mints, and a specially made baked treat, such as brownies or chocolate chip cookies. The house itself is still as impressive as we remember-and they just had the front steps totally rebuilt and the entire exterior of the house is being repainted this week (still the color yellow!) The grounds are maintained well...loved that the yard is fenced and the kids were able to run about and borrow balls, wagons, bikes and other toys from the innkeeper. Melissa was fantastic, and Debbie and Mike (innkeepers) were sweet and helpful, and very informative. Like visiting family! The location is walkable to CO College, and we also made the trek on foot to downtown (or a few minutes drive away.) Tons of shops and restaurants minutes away. Close to major highway too. I will continue to suggest this B&B to my friends and relatives...it's one of the only B&B in the area that accepts kids under 12 and they give a VERY generous military discount (which we are!) Thank you for another lovely stay!! We'll be back!

We stayed two night at this great property. Everything was wonderful. The Autumn Room was a little chilly, but the fireplace made it comfortable. The hosts were absolutely amazing and we really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. It's a beautiful walk to downtown.

I was given a 2 night stay at this place as a gift. I attempted to call the innkeepers to touch base with them and ensure that we had a reservation for the 2nd and 3rd, but no answer. I called again later, with again, no answer, but this time leaving a voicemail requesting that they please call me back in regards to my reservation, leaving my name and number. It's the day of my reservation and I have not received a call back, so I drive down there to speak with the innkeepers and go ahead and check in. I get there and wow...... I ring the doorbell and this lady (never introduced herself, but her picture on the lennox house website says her name is Julie) comes to the door . I let her know I have a reservation for that night and the next night and let her know I had already tried calling. She stands in the doorway, giving me an ugly look and heavy sigh and finally lets me in, where she immediately charges me $13 and leads me to the door of the room. No "welcome to our bed and breakfast", no tour, nothing. she hands me the keys to the door and says the gold key is for the front door and the silver is for the room. I ask when breakfast is, at 8.... and it ends there. Wow. Such customer service! I feel that this lady's attitude killed it for me. We felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome that we nearly left the first night. Instead, we stayed the night and dropped the keys off the next afternoon, not wanting to waste another night there. If you have the money to spend on this bed and breakfast, then DONT! Get yourself a Holiday Inn with a jacuzzi and a continental breakfast, because I promise, this place is just not worth it. P.S. This place boasts dvd library (there were a whole 2 DVDS sitting next to the tv that came from 1995!) and "gourmet snacks/drinks available anytime" (what 'gourmet' snacks? where? are they hiding? because we didn't get any or hear of any) and I can tell you this is just simply not true.

Lennox House recently had a Groupon deal for tea for two. I went once at the invitation of a friend and had a wonderful tea experience. I bought a Groupon, and over the past month have left 4 messages in an attempt to make a reservation. They never answer their phone, no matter yhe time of day. I have received zero return calls, and my Groupon has since expired, so i wasted money. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because of my first positive experience. If all I had to go on is this most recent one, they would receive -1 star for terrible/nonexistent customer service. I understand it is a family owned small businesses, but this is ridiculous. Someone should at some time be able to listen to and return messages. If you can't do that, have an online reservation system!
